Originally published by Games Workshop in 1983, Talisman is an iconic fantasy board game where players roll dice to explore a land filled with dangerous quests, enemies, and challenges, battling to be the first to reach the center of the board.
In 2008, Talisman Revised 4th Edition was released, becoming a beloved version of the game within the Talisman community. Talisman: Digital Classic Edition is an officially licensed digital adaptation of the Revised 4th Edition, featuring the full rules and access to all Revised 4th Edition expansions and content.
In Talisman, you choose from a roster of characters with unique strengths, weaknesses, and special abilities. Choose your adventurer carefully, as their abilities may be the key to obtaining the powerful Crown of Command. The Crown of Command is a magical artifact with the power to destroy all rivals, and can transform its bearer into the true ruler of the realm.
Your journey to the Crown of Command will not be easy. You will need courage, patience and good dice to overcome the dangers. Deadly monsters, cunning traps and magical disasters will try to stop you at every turn!
Join up to 5 friends online or locally and dive into the Talisman adventure! Online games can be saved and resumed later if necessary, so there is no need to worry about time limits! Or if you want to face your opponents in deadly combat, Talisman: Digital Classic Edition can also be played in Quick Mode.
Do you see yourself as good, neutral or evil? Depending on which character you choose to play, they have a predefined alignment that can change how you interact with the squares. However, the alignment can be changed during the game when you encounter certain cards or squares.
Anything can happen as you adventure through Talisman… Most squares on the game board require you to draw one or more adventure cards. These cards can reveal an event, follower, enemy, location, stranger, or object that may contain powerful weapons or magical items.
Adventure cards are essential for building your character’s inventory and becoming more powerful.
Before you set out on your journey to conquer the Crown of Command, you must make sure you are powerful enough! The challenge ahead is not easy, the Inner Region is full of dangers and creatures with high Strength and Ability.
Raising your character’s Strength, Ability, Lives, Luck, and Gold is not too difficult, but you can lose them just as quickly… You can collect resources by winning trophies, visiting certain Location cards or spaces on the board, or finding Items.
When you are strong enough, it is time to climb the steep steps to the Crown of Command, where you can conquer all and rule your kingdom.
