Encounters in Subliminal are traumatic events in your mind that happened inside your own head. Things detect your movements and hesitations. If you throw a puzzle too slowly when it matters most, you feel the weight of the world crushing you.

Every place you enter in Subliminal is a piece of memory. Discover the secrets of basements, water parks, arcades and more, all detailed with Unreal Engine 5 Lumen lighting and Nanite geometry. Nothing is quite right. Slides take you to places you shouldn’t go, TV screens take you between memories, and doors lead you back to the same room you started in.

Each place tells a piece of your story. As you explore, the environment becomes chaotic and unstable. You may see things that aren’t there, hear sounds that aren’t really there, and hear things that make the hairs on your neck stand up. What starts as exploration soon turns into violence and your own waning self-confidence in Subliminal.
