State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition is an open-ended survival game set in the aftermath of a catastrophic undead disaster. Your small community of survivors is trying to rebuild a corner of civilization, and you make all the decisions about how to do it.

You choose who to recruit for your team, where your community will live, how to strengthen and upgrade your base, and when to move to better locations. You choose who to send out to search for food and ammunition, and who to use to fight off the undead that are invading your base. You choose how to interact with the other people who move into your town. Will you be kind and welcoming… or will you fiercely defend your territory?

The sandbox gameplay is unique for each player. Each character in your village has their own unique skills and personality, so no two villages are the same. The challenges you face also vary from game to game, depending on who you hire and the decisions you make along the way in State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition.

With the support of other players, you can visit your friends’ villages and help them overcome difficult situations, then earn rewards for yourself. Other game modes include a 10-hour full-scale campaign and a “defense battle” mode in which four players fight against the undead.

• The difficulty can be set to “Green”, “Normal”, “Evil”, “Dark Dream” or “Horrible”, and can be customized in “Action”, “Community” and “Map” modes.
• Targeting Assist allows the player to automatically lock onto nearby enemies, which can be set to “None”, “Normal”, or “Maximum”.
• The game can be paused in single player mode (pause is not available in multiplayer mode).
