Be prepared to build in ShantyTown, reaching into even the smallest holes and finding ingenious ways to place light sources or decorations that breathe life into every corner.

It’s a world where every balcony, interesting poster and plant tells a story. And you’re the one who organizes it!

This game is inspired by my love of well-built cities around the world, which is why I’ve put together 20 different locations for you to explore, each with its own feel and personality.

Whether it’s the warm glow of the Hotpot Casino, the luxurious confines of the Marshlands Pipe or the solitude of the Lighthouse, each location will offer a new experience.

How you put things together is entirely up to you.

Larger structures like buildings and gates can be modified, but require some care to reach their full potential. By providing lighting, accessories and decorations, spaces like shops, corridors or gates can be transformed into bright spaces. Completing the update will unlock new features and decorations, giving you even more options for designing your town.

Once you’ve created a space, frame the photo, take a photo, and add it to your shelf before moving on to the next blank canvas in ShantyTown.

Each location offers a unique set of materials and only a limited amount of space to build. Whether it’s food carts, neon signs, or factory chimneys, players will have to carefully put them all together to create a balanced and simple space that feels right.

So far, this has been a game of chance. There are no wrong answers here. Remember, each layout should be personal, and every little messy corner makes it appealing.

In ShantyTown’s added Creative Mode, you have unlimited structural options with every unlocked location and object you see on your journey through ShantyTown. Stack one on top of the other in a shelter, spread out, and on all sides. We’ve also included a white space with a large sandbox to design custom cities and shops to your heart’s content.
