Before Fate is a retro sci-fi survival RPG built around exploration, crafting, combat, and dungeon-breaking progression. Investigator Ian travels across unstable gaps in time and space, entering deserts, jungles, industrial ruins, and exotic locations to gather resources, craft gear, rebuild his base, and survive in a world dominated by starships and uncontrollable machines. As his investigation continues, connections between the Chrono Gemstone, the Raft Disaster, and the Aude Research Center begin.

In an age where robots and humans coexist, the arrival of the space shuttle changes the course of the world. Investigator Ian Stewart followed the clues left by his mentor Abel Morrison and slowly uncovered connections between the Chronicle, the vessel on which the ferry disaster occurred, and the Aude Research Institute.
