Kestrel dreams of following in the footsteps of her father, a legendary hero, but while performing a simple task, she finds herself in the dark and mysterious Three Eight Kingdoms, where… she dies. To her surprise, the young hero is revived by a mysterious spirit, with whom she must now share her body. Kestrel faces three difficult tasks: regain control of her soul, uncover the ancient mystery surrounding her new companion, and save the world from imminent destruction.

Travel through the Land of Cities, which offers a variety of environments – from sunny forests to dark dungeons and magnificent palaces, each with its own unique character and atmosphere. The eternal struggle between good and evil is not as obvious and clear in the world of Bylina as it seems at first glance; its inhabitants experience a difficult inner life, full of fears, anxieties, hatreds and scars from past trials that have shaped them into who they are today.
