Vortica is a two-player 2D roguelite shooter where you raid hostile territories, rescue helpless civilians, and eliminate deadly alien threats throughout the solar system. Search for resources, powerful weapons, and items, and choose your equipment carefully to win each unique mission.

Combat

You will be confronted by endless hordes of different enemies that require different skills to defeat in Vortica . Throw everything at you in one wave, from rusty automatic weapons to powerful plasma cannons, or use automated watchtowers to help you.

You will also encounter giant bosses throughout the solar system that will require a combination of cunning and strength to defeat. Once you have completed your mission, you must act successfully. Enter your Vortal before it is too late!

Customize it to your liking

Find accessories like jump boots, traps, and improvised grenades, or craft them yourself at home. With over 100 items, you can eliminate enemies, generate resources, or illuminate dark and dim areas. There’s a tool for every need!

Increase your speed and expand your equipment as you progress. Soon you’ll be fighting for your life against seemingly invincible creatures. Finding new fonts will also open up more options in your home, such as better crafting or new goals.

Every run is different, with electrical damage plunging some areas into darkness, some filling them with radiation, and some forcing you to fight through zero-gravity stations.
